CASE STUDY: Director, Supply Chain

THE COMPANY:

A private-equity owned, global leader in the design and fabrication of battery and power products.  Prior to a complex acquisition of a bolt-on, a vital member of the company’s supply chain team had resigned, leaving a gap in the management team.

THE APPROACH:

The TriVista Recruitment Team reviewed the critical requirements of the role with the hiring company and assisted in developing a Director of Supply Chain job profile.  Key components for the hire included experience in inventory control, SIOP, and leveraging commodity purchases in LCCs. TriVista Recruitment networked the position within a targeted, relevant niche to present qualified, interested candidate referrals.

THE OUTCOME:

The company selected and advanced four experienced, local candidates to multiple on-site interviews.  The hired individual possesses extensive experience in managing direct and indirect procurement, inventory controls, vendor selection, supplier performance and process disciplines.
